Do Your Bit For The Country!

India is a country of the youth. We have no dearth of people buzzling with ideas, opinions and innovations in their minds. But these vibrant minds are seldom seen participating in the political leadership, decision and policy making or even serious discussions and debates on such issues. This is either because of lack of awareness and opportunities or due to sheer distrust on the political institutions of India (or the Indian Political System as a whole).

The valuable and innovative ideas thus remain dormant in the minds of the people and are seldom expressed or listened to. But remaining silent, however easy it may seem, is not always a good alternative. The decisions and policies deciding our present and probably our future are forced down upon us from representatives who may not have been competent to take decisions on our behalf, but we chose them, because there were no choices involved in the real sense, as the alternatives were not chosen by us.

This silence and ignorance affect our own future. And resorting to mere complaining about authorities is not a good choice either. It may tempting to complain and blame the concerned authorities, but still it does not help in solving the common problems one faces. But proposing solutions and engaging in discussions do help in finding optimal solutions. It is a more intellectual and effective alternative.
